In my previous blog, I had mentioned the array of events that marked the prelude of this summer. I had decided to stay back in IIT for a couple of weeks to look for some damn project. In fact, there were plenty of students who thought this way. Life wasn't going to be easy but to our surprise, we had a pretty cool summer. I owe my heartfelt thanks to the RAIN GODS, without whom it would have been too hot to handle.
While IPL2 was nerve-racking, Fake IPL Player's legendary blogs brought laughs all around. Girls really need to read FIP's blogs to improve their sense of humor. :P
Finally, I can't resist to mention a couple of friends, without whom, I could have never watched "Man vs Wild" without multitasking.
Anyways, the masti part was over and I had to go for an industrial training at SAIL Durgapur next. On the first day, we got a tremendously boring lecture on accidents and safety. It requires a great amount of will-power to take a 90 minutes' lecture to teach the definition of "accidents" to 2nd and 3rd year engineering students. How can someone? But excluding this part, the internship was very exciting. I hardly had any work to do: just needed to visit the plant for a couple of hours daily. This is what I like about government jobs. PSUs rock! Anyways it clashed with my interests, which led me to quit just after a couple of weeks.
What next? I still had a month and a half left to spend at home. I had decided to maaro peace for the rest of the vacation no matter what happened. I met a lot of relatives after a long time and we had a lot of fun together. I'd probably rate this as one of my best holidays. But, many people at IIT believe something valuable needs to be done every now and then. You can't just... just waste time. I hate them. My answer to them: I learnt to ride bikes. I heaved a sigh of huge relief as it was really embarrasing being a 20-year old unable to ride a bike. Finally, those 45 days seemed really small. I wonder if I could stay at home forever.

Finally it was time to return to IIT, with a bundle of hopes and plans to make life legen...dary.
P.S. : Life isn't that bad at IIT as my blogs seem to depict. Its probably better than most other guys would be having if the "girl factor" is ignored. Anyways, I'm enjoying it.
P.P.S. : This blog isn't meant with a purpose. Aiwayi likha hai! Thanks for reading!
3rd year begins! :)
adios!
